I have a !991 Chevy Silverado With the 350 TBI. Now their are two diffrent types of TBI engines, one thats 210 HP or the one thats 270HP. Now my truck used to run like shit and it currently burns oil. At one point i stopped, gave it a oil change, tune up- spark plugs, wires, disributer cap and rotar. Than i went to a muffler shop and got some custom bent pipes and man i tell you this truck halls ass now. I smoked a new mustang gt. And i think if you have the 270 HP with a 4:10 gear ratio on a 700R4 transmission like i do you would be pretty satisfied, it only takes me 5.5 to 65. but still your idea about the edelbrock aint bad either, their efi multi port fuel injection for TBI is you best upgrade. Than comes cam mainfold heads and of course hedders. I think that TBI is way better than Carbs. thats just my opinion
