Does anyone know if the TPI system in the 3rd generation Camaro will support a mild 406 small block? Currently the car has a 350 with a Superchip, Holley adjustable regulator, headers and a catback exhaust. It runs fine but I am looking for more low end torque to get this relatively heavy car going. I have a mild 406 with a 430 int./455 exh. roller cam and Vortec heads in my Surburban. It's a stump puller that I believe would be a blast to drive in my 1985 IROC. The car is a Mass Air Flow car which I believe is less complicated for this type of swap because the sensor is only monitoring airflow. I realize the Mass Air Flow Sensor limits the car to about 300 rear wheel horsepower but I still should be able to get 400 plus ft/lbs at the flywheel as low as 2000 RPM. The car is loaded with Spohn Engineering and Global West handling pieces so I know it can put the power down. Any help would be appreciated!
